PVGA members receive marketing, sales, invoicing, collection, cold storage, discounted packaging materials, and transportation services from the co-op. Members pay a one-time membership fee and yearly dues, freight charges, and a sliding-scale commission based on the volume shipped through the co-op.

In most cases, farmers ship through the co-op for a year before becoming a member. Non-member shippers pay freight charges and a slightly higher commission.
